The hotel offers free tours a couple of times a week to share the history of this magnificent building. It is in an interesting location and started life as the general post office. Our guide showed us some video clips from the past. Highlight of the tour was a trip up to the roof where the view would be brilliant on a clear day.

It was truly interesting, enlightening & informative.Cindy - our guide is very friendly & knowledgeable with lots of EQ thereby very thoughtful. My wife had just gone for a foot surgery and suffering from a back injury as well. So sweet of Cindy to find seats or areas for her to lean on throughout the tour. Easy tour as mostly within the hotel premises. A must go for all, be it locals or foreigners. A BIG THANK YOU CINDY!

The Fullerton Hotel is part of Singapore’s history and Bill tells the story so well. Using historical photos on his tablet we were able to see “then and now”. The view from the top of the hotel was spectacular.
I would highly recommend this tour.
There is a companion tour which leaves from the Fullerton Bay Hotel which I would recommend also.

A very informative and enjoyable tour of the Fullerton and the immediate area outside by Cindy. Cindy took an interest in those on the tour, engaged us by asking us questions about the things we were seeing, kept the tour interesting and generally made the time fly by. She is a superb guide.

It would be great if the Fullerton allowed those on the tour access to historically interesting areas off limits to normal visitors - the lighthouse, the former billiard room etc. No fault of Cindy, but something the Fullerton Management could consider.

Booked this tour in advance as there was no availability when we were previously in Singapore. So pleased we did as Mr Bill is an exceptional guide and made the history not just about The Fullerton Hotel itself but Singapore as a whole, as it was and as it is now, extremely interesting. The last stop was the Lighthouse Bar which was a perfect way to finish!

Linda Chan was our fun, funny, and knowledgeable guide. She gave us a lot of very interesting details that she could speak of from the time of her grandmother until now. Everything was so fascinating. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Singapore. Truly worthwhile.

Cindy was a very good guide, showing us very in depth information relating to post colonial days Singapore around the Fullerton hotel area. This is a definite tour to join if you are having a family staycation at the Fullerton hotel. It might be a little boring for kids under the age of 5 though, so parents do take note.
