if you want to have a great full body workout doing at your own pace and timing, this might be a good alternative .. doesnt matter if youre a beginner, novice or experienced climber. fee is valid for whole day stay inside the gym, situated inside the mall with airconditioning ang good lightings .. also there are auto-belays system so solo climbing is possible ... a recommended activity for the whole family, group of friends, even yourself!

Experienced rude and obnoxious service from the counter staff and then from the manager.
When we asked for help to harness our children because we hadn’t been here for a while Aw Yong replied “ you need to do it yourself you shouldn’t rely on the staff.. you all attended the briefing” We were shocked at this negligent approach to safety and explained we hadn’t been here for sometime so we wanted to make sure it was fitted right - to which the girl replied “ you were just here in July” (last visit the other staff kindly fitted the harnesses.
To cut a long story short - later the manager “Mark” graced us with his presence and continually interrupted and cut my Wife off when talking to him - so incredibly rude and disrespectful.
There was one very nice and helpful staff “Dia” who volunteered to help check the harnesses quite contrary to her colleagues and we were very grateful to her.
If you decide to visit Climb Central I’d suggest give Novena branch a miss or choose a competitor

The high walls and scaling heights gave me the chills but we had a grand time with the kids ( all first timers) as we felt safe and received proper instructions. People there - crew and climbers are friendly and look out for each other. We received friendly advice from more experienced climbers - it was like a community. Given that I didn't quite overcome my fear for scaling tall walls, I will go back , this time perhaps for some professional instructions.

Lots of different climbing options from bouldering and top-rope, to lead climbing. The bouldering wall has different levels of difficulty but as a beginner I thought there were a decent amount of beginner problems and I was definitely well challenged! I also like that several top-rope routes had auto-belay systems which made it more convenient to climb.
Place is air-conditioned and comfortable which is great. Facilities are also very clean. Overall it's a great place to climb, one of my favourites in Singapore!

I love rock climbing here! It's beginner friendly, so it's great to bring friends along.
They have top rope, lead climbing and bouldering!
They also have shower facilities available which makes it convenient if you want to grab dinner after~

Nice decent sized place for climbing.
Includes top-rope routes(lead climbing routes and a small boulder section.
The price is decent. Place is air conditioned and the equipment/wall/holds are well used but not too worn.
Routes range from beginners to expert challenging one. There are some auto belay routes available.
However the best part about climb central is the belaying system. It has an anchor on the floor and a "safety" device up top so anyone can belay safely even without experience after a briefing.
This makes climbing really faster and easier than other gyms where you might need to tie in every time and the weight difference between the belay and climber no longer matters.
It gets crowded sometimes and there is always many onlookers as it is in the middle of the mall. Also there is always a sweat smell as most gyms have.

Came here with seasoned climbers, we all had a good time.
Some easy and challenging routes for all groups. Some of the holds were quite worn though.
Note to book in advance for the advanced climbing approval.
No toilets on drinks available onsite, have to use the shops around.

I went climbing with my boys age 11 and 7. Their 1st climb and they love it. The place can get very crowded during evening and especially weekends.

Very cool and quite big climbing site. They have everything: auto bealay, bouldering, top rope and even leading climb routes. Great for all kinds of climbers from beginning to advance level. Just a friendly reminder, the climb site get extremely popular over the weekend, so if you plan to visit in weekend, be early (gym opened at 9am). In my personal experience, having know they are usually full in weekends, I made an early trip, got there at about 9:10 in the morning and already see people queue to get in, and about 11 a.m, the gym has already put on the "full" sign at the door!

Great experience from my first try at rock climbing at Climb Central today! Went with my family comprising 3 kids of age 6, 8 and 13.
Learning to let go of the wall when it is time to descend, trusting that it will be ok. And the sense of achievement and gratitude upon reaching the top of the wall.
Each step taken is a little bit more experience gained. Failure shouldn't prevent one from trying again. The joy of crossing that point on the wall where it seemed earlier so difficult to overcome! Possible with courage to try again, learning from the earlier failure and letting go of the perceived limitation.
And more importantly, enjoying and achieving as a family!
