Superb business lunch, 2 courses but additional tasting dishes served in addition, all explained by a different Chefs in a very interesting articulated way. Food absolutely amazing, I had the sea bass which really was superb and a portion that was just the right size. Staff and service also excellent. All served promptly
Absolutely excellent

We went to The tipling Club for a long Friday lunch as a way of welcoming a dear friend to Singapore. Whilst we had read reviews, checked out the menu etc on line as one does, we were all blown away by the environment, the atmosphere, the food and the service.

There is not enough space or words to describe the joyious and wonderful service we recieved, nor to imaginative and wonderful food we experience.

Even if you are only in Sinagpore for 1 day, you MUST go to this restaurant. Forget the big name hotels and there buffet style lunches, come and enjoy a wonderful food, prepared and presented by people who have a passion for great food.

You will not be disappointed.

Makes good cocktails according to a chart of smells instead of a menu. Very elegant and very high quality. Well worth it.

We booked the private room on the second floor with a dedicated hostess, waiter and chef.
The meal started with finger food in the lounge area followed by a set meal around a huge dining table.
The food was inventive, exquisite and delicious.
Would highly recommend and expect a Michelin Star to soon arrive

Embracing my introverted side, I was here reading a book on a Friday evening. I just left actually.

Anyway, today is the third time I'm at this magical place. It's interior is divided into a few sections from the looks of it. I've only been at the dark side of the establishment that hides away like Diagon Alley. Not really hidden, I suppose. It's the bar, to be descriptively literal. I reckon that the other half is where the restaurant is.

Ambience is fantastic. The soft lighting is great for those who wishes to conceal the fatigue from their face after a long day at work; or for us ladies, the concealer that's beginning to conceal none of that needed to be concealed. In short, it's a romantic atmosphere. Kind of. It's just cosy and classy, really.

Toilet was clean and beautiful. A good restaurant should always have a lavatory that's clean. Seriously.

Service. Handsome and charming Bartenders. As much as most would think that that is a pretty obvious statement, I assure you, it's not. I've been to places where the Bartenders would rather have their eyes glued to the floor and have their bum greet you as you strut in with a smile.

Waitress was pleasant - (love, don't be afraid to start a conversation with your patrons, even an anomaly like me who's sitting alone at the table by the lavatory. OWN IT GIRL.)

Head Chef was an absolute darling. Friendly and helpful to suggest nearby bars where I can try out next time. Darling, I love Tippling Club and being a creature of habit, I'm going to stick to my comfy corner by the toilet next time I have time to relax with my book 😉

Had the Campfire sensory cocktail (as I've had the past 2 times). Honestly, for someone who's not big on drinking, Campfire tastes and smells yummy.

I just had the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious! Value for money if you're not one of those who stuffs food in their face for the sake of eating and not savouring the flavours; which I sometimes am, to be completely honest.

Ended the night with a quick chat with the Chef and a surprise dessert taster that's served in a medicine capsule to bring home. Can this place get any more interesting?

I'll definitely be back. See you again, rockstars. You nailed it EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I wish I remembered your names though to personally address you here. I'm absolutely terrible at remembering names. I'll be sure to do so the next time I visit.

Love,
-Kat

We went to The Tippling Club on recommendation from Andre - chef at Restaurant Andre. We did the 10 course 'Gormande'. The food was beautifully executed/ presented & served & there were more than 10 courses when snacks and pre desserts were added. The wine list was great - we did one wine matching and one by the glass.
We had eaten the previous night at Waku Ghin (Tetsuya's restaurant) down at Marina Bay. Compared to Waku Ghin, The Tippling Club was streets ahead in food, service and value for money.
I would happily eat at The Tippling Club again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sensational meal and a dining room with loads of atmosphere.

It has been always my dream to dine in this revered establishment. Here everything has its purpose, place and is for a reason. To start with pre dinner drinks menu that's presented in a new bold way to the food that will manage to surprise you at all times. Presentation, tableware and ideas are 2nd to none. Modern take ons classics in a very smart way. Chefs interacting with dinners, smart but casual ambience clearly put this place on top of my list when eating out in Singapore. Try to book your seat at the kitchen table to have a first row in a multi sensory theatre and experience an alchemy first hand.

One that seems strange to me is how come this place wasn't granted a star, but I guess it's not a right place to discuss these matters

Amazing Bravo !
