Don’t book any other walking tour when in Singapore. Darren was terrific as a guide. Gave us a great history lesson on Singapore as well as how it exists today, from the cultural, business, and living perspectives. It is a very walkable city and the subway system is the best we have ever encountered. Highly recommend you book with them and ask for Darren as a guide

Our guide Darren from Sneak-Peek was well organised and prepared comfort items like transparent phone pouches, transparent waterproof bags and snacks through the trip. He was knowledgeable in the biodiversity of the mangroves and history of the places we visited. We really enjoyed visiting the mangroves that typically isn’t accessible by foot and dipping by the calm waters. The trip was well planned and enjoyable throughout. Had a great time and would recommend to others to try if they want to explore the lesser known places of Singapore.

Went on the Mount Faber tour in a group of 4 and had a lot of fun! Not only did the tour have interesting content(history and stories of the past), we also covered a good amount of distance as we visited multiple sites. Darren is a very friendly guide that ensures the pace and content of the tour is comfortable for the group. The tour was dynamic and fun, have a go at it and it’ll definitely shed more light on this history of Singapore!

Family and I had a great day out kayaking with Darren to the mangroves in Ubin. His trip was well planned, educational and thoroughly enjoyable. Totally recommended as a full day activity for the family (started at 1045, back at 1800h).

In total, we kayaked for about 10km as we opted to kayak back to the starting point after the meal at the floating restaurant. There's an option to take the bumboat back to land after the meal - but do note that it brings you to a different location compared to your start point (roughly 20min by car).

Darren did a great job leading the group! Absolute bespoke experience and we were extremely impressed by the sensorial and educational aspects of the tour. Well spoken and attentive to the needs of the group, he had truly made our day! This is an unsolicited review and the first time that I am writing on google, amidst my busy schedule as a working mother ; only because my family and I had such a fantastic time at the hike led by Darren and that encounter deserves to be shared. 👍

Kayaking to Pulau Ubin under the watchful eye of Darren was a fantastic experience, and one that really ticks the “off the beaten track” box. Over 7 hours, you can cross a wide expanse of water, paddle through mangrove channels, visit a temple, swim at an isolated spot and learn about the fauna and flora of this protected part of Singapore. The guide is incredibly friendly, adapts to his audience (including young children) and always pulls a miraculous treat from his refrigerated bag at the right moment. Organised to perfection, safe and friendly yet physically challenging - What a perfect family day out in Singapore!

We spent an amazing day out on a kayak tour with Darren from Sneakpeek.
From the sumptuous lunch he organised for us on a kelong to the educational tour we got by kayaking around Pulau Ubin.
All agreed it was one of the best day out especially in the midst of Covid.
Highly recommended for all who want to experience something very relaxing and different.
Thanks Darren, we look forward to our next day out with you and another new adventure around the islands!

I found out about Sneakpeek as some friends had gone on his kayak trips, and the photos caught my interest. I have been on other kayak trip to Ubin, but wanted to do a slightly different one and perhaps see it through another pair of eyes. Well, it was the best decision ever to go with Darren, as his trips were really insightful and gave us a whole new perspective to Ubin!

Kayaking was not just about kayaking, as Darren gave us running commentaries of everything as we paddle along; from the fish farming, to urban planning and history of Ubin, to the flora and fauna that we see (or not see) along the trip. The picnic lunch prepared by Darren was really good, as well as the little (surprise!) snacks along the way! I love it how Darren was being the mother hen nagging us to reapply sunblock all through the day! He was also super responsive on chats prior to the trip and very willing to accommodate to my various requests, and last minute change of plans.

There are several routes offered by Sneakpeek but the one we picked, where we kayak from Pasir Ris to Ubin and back to Punggol, stopped by the German girl shrine before exploring the more remote southwest coast as well as the granite rocks of Ubin was really pretty. Darren took great care of each and everyone of us, and will always stop to make sure everyone is able to follow the pace of the group. Our group had an amazing day out with Darren, and I would highly recommend Sneakpeek to anyone looking for a great outdoor trip here in Singapore!

Darren’s kayaking tour of pulau ubin + the mangroves of pulau ketam is AMAZING. 10/10!

For first timer kayakers, my friend and i were abit hesistant to go for it, but Darren answered all our questions pre-booking (very responsive!) and took really good care of us during the tour itself. Alot of times we were slower than the main group and he managed to balence taking care of us slowpokes as well as catering to and leading the main group! All done without missing a beat!! And thanks to Darren, we felt super safe throughout the whole experience and also super encouraged to do our best.

Darren’s tour was also super interesting and informative, with laminated information sheets for identifying birds, trees and etc. He’s knowledgeable about local stories, wildlife, identifying nature and fun facts about sg urban planning! I learnt so much from just listening to him. &Being surrounded by nature was so soothing for the soul.

Plus, he has tricks up his sleeve that ensure a super fun & rewarding experience. ***But i wont spoil the surprise for you here, you really just have to book a tour with him to experience the magic yourself!***

The logistics are all perfectly planned out! Nothing was lacking. I highly recommend this experience for friends, couples & families! The family we were with even brought their tiny dog along with them.

Also need to mention that throughout the trip, the whole group practiced covid safe protocols like mask wearing when on land, and social distancing of our kayaks on water. 😂 overall, i felt very safe on this tour. 10/10 would go again, would highly recommend to everyone and would support wholeheartedly. THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

P.s: i was recommended to Sneakpeek singapore by a friend. And now I’m wholeheartedly passing on the recommendations to my friends. It is truly the mark of a great experience when word of mouth is so immediate and forthcoming!
