There is a light show at 7.45pm each evening, but it is strongly recommended to get there early and grab a space, as it gets extremely crowded from about 7pm. We found the best spot to be directly in front of the Skytree observatory and as far back as you can without obstructing the view of the three Skytrees. Impressive light show set to music. The show lasts approximately 10-15 mins.

The Garden Supertree Grove is truly a beautiful and exceptional location, designed with great attention to detail. The combination of artful plant arrangements and harmonious nature is absolutely worth seeing. The walk over the elevated bridge, which offers impressive views, is particularly recommended. A highlight is definitely the spectacular light show, which is accompanied by classical opera music and takes place every evening at 7:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Pure goose bumps!!! 🤩Hundreds of visitors enjoy this unique experience, partly sitting on the ground, partly on the stone benches – just gigantic! Be sure to look!

Amazing experience, this has been on my bucket list to see since I watched crazy rich Asians. I went during the day and at night and definitely would recommend going at night. They have a light show that goes along to music, usually to a theme, it was opera when I went. It can get very crowded so would recommend going early if you want a seat. There's no immediate need to go on the bridge unless you so desire, you wouldn't be missing much.

We enjoyed our visit to Gardens by the Bay of which the Supertree Grove is a part. Since we were staying at the nearby Marina Bay Sands, it was an easy walk to get here and there were elevators if you didn't want to use the stairs. You can walk around the base of the trees for free, but will need to pay a small fee to take the elevator up to the catwalk that connects the trees. I highly recommend it. The views are nice and it isn't scary at all.

We went during the early afternoon and there were no lines to get tickets, but it does fill up in the evenings and the lines get long near when the light show starts. Since our room at MBS faced the trees, we enjoyed the light show from our room. I recommend seeing the trees at dusk when they are all lit up.

We happened to find the light show in the Supertree Grove at the right time and experienced a great production of the horizontal trees, courage, music and lights. The view from the benches under the Supertrees where you can lie down and the view of the dark night sky illuminated by the colorful lights was even more impressive than the Supertree Grove during the day.
So it's worth a visit day and night.
And if you want to pay the money you can also enjoy the view from the Supertrees from above and walk over the bridge into the "treetops"...

It's free to go into the supertree grove, and only costs if you do one of the viewing platforms eetc. Don't only go to 'the trees'. Explore the area around it, you'll find lovely waterways with a superb view of the Marina Bay Hotel,, wonderful walks, bridges, lights and areas to enjoy within only a few minutes.
Our favourite time was at sunset, so you get the best of both worlds, the lights, plus the 'daylight'. We went for the music in the trees (look it up) and they light up the trees in time with the music. It was fantastic, but crowds build up quickly beforehand, so take a drink and a picnic and bags a spot with a blanket on the grass in front. Gotta love Singapore for their attention to detail.
The supertree grove and the platforms etc, were amazing, we did a couple of them and it was well worth the ticket price. Hot in the day, if you're not careful.

In the day light the supertrees are impressive, but at night they really come into their own. Approximately 2-3 times per night, at 7.45, 8.45 and sometimes 9.45 a super sound and vision show takes place. The best location to view is where you can easily see the Observatory, as this is the epicentre. The show lasts 15 minutes max, so don’t be late! There are building works as you go through the top of the Marina Bay Sounds and it gets very crowded both ways, so give yourself plenty of time.
If you are very lucky there is a second show, The Northern Lights. I won’t ruin it by saying too much, but it is magical.

The central attraction of the Gardens By the Bay, these can be enjoyed from the bottom, but also highly recommend the OCBC walkway to enjoy views from the top with Marina Bay Sands in the background. Go at sunset for the best lighting and when the trees start to light up. There is also a free evening light show with lights set to music - worth timing your visit around this.

I've heard that many people go to Singapore to make their dream come true, for some children, and wander among the huge glowing trees, like in the famous movie Avatar. Especially this is one of the few free and interesting adventures in Singapore. Admission to the park really doesn't cost anything, but walking on suspension bridges is only possible for money. The evening performance to music is very interesting and impressive. For the first time. Only I've seen him a couple of times. And of course, the whole huge botanical park around these supertrees is very interesting. With all its zones by country and continent.

I went to see a light show called Rhapsody, which runs every night at 7:45 and 8:45 for 15 minutes.

The Super Tree Glove is illuminated in various colors such as orange, green, blue and purple, and it flashes along with the music.

This is my second visit to Singapore and I think it is one of the top three Things to do in terms of rhapsody light show at night.

The best point to look at from the east with Marina Bay Sands in the background.

Even in front of Marina Bay Sands, there is a 15-minute light show called Spectra every night from 9 and 10 o'clock, but this one was nothing.
