Beautiful old homes, now offices, cobblestone streets, this is worth the short walk if you are near La Moneda or plaza de Armas.

In dowtown Santiago there are plenty of corners and places to visit and admire the architecture and nice environment of the Chilean capital. Paris Londres is a small neighborhood downtown area that reminds you of European capitals for its cntruction stile and looks... walk in the area, get lost and discover nice small caffes, pastry shops or restaurants to enjoy... This is worth a walk on Londres and Paris Streets. Many homes that were built in the 1920's are still there. Many have been converted into hotels and hostels. Very quiet.

It was almost like being in Pairs again. Quite little cafes, surrounded by beautiful buildings. Pretty cool.

An architectural gem in downtown santiago minutes away from La Moneda. A small collection of streets featuring a mix of styles from baroque to art deco. Perfect for taking pictures where Paris and London really do meet. If this was New York it would be full of trendy bars and restaurants, but sadly not the case. Still worth a visit... More

Beautiful place in Santiago, very nice, love the cobble stone streets. this barrio is located behind the San Francisco Church, also in this Barrio you will find hotels, hostels and shops. This small Barrio has a European architectural style very beautiful.

Taste of old Europe hidden in downtown Santiago: a very photographic little area in the heart of old downtown that transport you a century back.

The area is quite small but it oozes class. Turned down the street on a whim and found myself in a bit of dream world. The area has been completely restored and is immaculate. I walked with my eyes up. If you are interested in a trip to South America see our not for profit blog havecarryonwilltravel.com. There are several... More
