If you try to find a place in the world which is peaceful, calm, natural, beautiful, and far away from civilisatoric inconveniences, come to the Parque Nacional Nevado de Tres Cruces. In a small group of 3 persons (Bob, american, myself Joachim, german, and our famous chilenian guide Cristian from High Mountain Expedition, Santiago de Chile) we had the best... More

December 2014 we attempted the Marmolejo. Trip was organized perfectly and the group always felt safe. One persone got sick and we had to go back, but the overall experience was great. Guillermo is positive and professional, keen to reply to questions and always happy to help out. I'd definately suggest High Mountain to climbers.

The expedition lasts about two weeks and you move with a pick-up from one place to the other. I went mid February to beginning of March 2015 and was surprised that the Agency did not try to cancel the event even if I was the only partecipant. I liked most the area around the salted lake of Laguna Santa Rosa... More

Went on a 5 day trip with Guillermo on El Plomo and Leonera in February 2014. Even though I had the altitude sickness we had à great time. We were a small group of 3 climbers plus him, and we really bonded together. The way he was leading, he let everybody take its place and he adapteded to the group,... More

In December 2013 I climbed Ojos del Salado with Alberto from High Mountain. The trip was organised brilliantly from start to finish, ending with a successful summit. Aside from a few unavoidable mishaps (the fox/saucepan incident!), there really was nothing that could have been done to improve the expedition. The acclimatisation program was the perfect length, with plenty of lower... More

We have done 2 treks with Guillermo of High Mountain Expedition. While in Santiago for a week for work, we wanted to take a day to do a trek, something relatively easy and close to the city. The first time we met Guillermo (January 2012) we planned to do the Cajon del Maipo trek to San Francisco glacier. Upon picking... More
