We enjoyed the park setting as well as the walk to the top, with viewing spots along the way. Some steps are steeper than others so choose carefully if you are not good with heights.

Near the top Darwin Jardin. They should clean up the graffiti on the plaque though. Good view of Santiago from the top.

Worth the trip to the top to take in the views, but even more striking is the monumental staircase, fountain, statuary, etc.

A "cerro" that literally cuts in the middle the heart of Santiago. Must be seen, must be lived. A spot of nature and green. One of the best memories of the City.
