I was impressed with the Handicraft Village. We were on a group tour and were only given about 45 minutes to walk through the shops. We could have spent much more time. I didn’t count, but there were probably 200 shops selling various merchandise. No...More

We enjoyed immensely the artisans here. Woodwork, Jewelry, and crafts are on show. Two restaurants provide pleasant dining as a break in the explorations. You'll be rewarded if you explore, so do enjoy this historical spot.

We took the metro to Los Dominicos and the handicraft village is 10 minutes walk from the station. Asked a local for direction. Was disappointed as there are not many shops and some were closed. There are only 2 cafes in the village.

very nice place to see as tourist. Welcoming and nice family trip too. Lots of souvenirs of Chile, a bit expensive, but it is part of the local touch. Reachable by metro and easy access. You can negotiate the prices. Bank inside the complex

We took an uber to this area but there was a subway nearby but we chose not to ride crowded subways in Chile. The shops are open on Sunday as well as other days. It is truly an artesian village with a wide variety of...More

Take a some time off and visit this handicraft market! A green oasis within numerous cottages that offer insights to creativity and skills from across Chile and neighbouring countries. Step into the different workshops and see more - discuss with the makers directly.

We were told that this market was not open on Mondays. However, we ventured out and found that it was indeed open on Mondays (Sept., 2017). Some of the shops open a little later than the official opening time. This is a wonderful market where...More

Other than Los Dominicos and Bellavista, I suggest you try the handicraft market at Santa Lucia. I bought my Lapis Lazuli jewelry there (after comparing prices at Los Dominicos and Bellavista) and the lady at the shop was... More
