This museum was a total surprise. We entered the central post office to buy stamps and found the entrance of the museum in a corner. So many artefacts from old post office are displayed as well as many stamps. Very well maintained and cool place...More

The museum is in the working post office located in Plaza de Armas right by the Cathedral and National Museum. The museum itself has a very large collection of stamps from pretty much every country, so a stamp collector or anyone interested in philately will...More

Lovely old building which is still used as a post office. Small museum exhibiting all things postal from the past - stamps, fax machine, furniture, uniforms etc.

This building really caught my attention as I walked around Plaza de Armas. It stands tall on one corner of the plaza and has a beautiful architectural design. Well worth stopping by even if for a few pictures.

Go inside! Amazing.... still operating as the main post office! In magnificent condition! Well worth a visit! You can combine it with a quick look at the Cathedral at the same time... Good to contrast the two.
