Absolutely beautiful. I went in the early morning to avoid the crowds and get some good pictures. So much to see in this historic area. I ventured off the beaten path and saw some more of the architecture and colors of this incredible city.

this cathedral is stunning and very large. It is an important site to visit while in Quito for sure. Be sure to check out the really cool gargoyles that have a South American twist!

Photos are allowed in the church but you must pay the $2.00 per person entry fee.
