Once owned by one of Ecuador liberators, the building is well worth a quick visit for its scale and impressive architecture although there is not much else to see apart from the building itself.

Sadly, it was a holiday and we were unable to go inside. Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed the outside and architecture along with the history our guide was able to provide.

this beautiful home has been converted to a museum, but there is not a lot to see. Admission is free, which is nice, and some of the views from the upstairs windows are pretty, but the museum is just ho-hum
