A nice stop on the way to Chordeleg. The tour was interesting and at the end of it, the kids got to feed the guacamayos. They had a blast.

The place from the outside already called someone's attention. It had many species of orchids but they were displayed so tight you aren't able to admire them. The closing time is at 4:30 and the place is about one hour away from Cuenca so you...More

I'm not an orchid aficionado but even I could appreciate the beauty and delicateness of the many orchids in Ecuagenera's garden. A guide gave us a in-depth, unhurried tour. We saw hundreds of varieties of orchids. Quite enjoyable.

Nice little tour (30minutes) through the ground and with plenty of information and different Orchids. Just $5pp and 20minutes outside of Cuenca, it's recommendable if you have a car and want to get out of the city for a bit!

I could have done without this visit. It was reasonably interesting but nothing compared to a visit to the rose plantations. If you have to choose then choose the roses. The orchids are not bad but if you've ever been to Singapore then don't bother....More

It is really nothing but a store & a nursery! The orchids in the store ARE beautiful, but who can buy an orchid while traveling? The tour is only 15 minutes long! What a tourist trap!More
