We drove through on our way from Puno to Arequipa. This is a naturally beautiful area with many vicunas and alpacas. Its very secluded and has great beauty with views of volcanos and mountains.

We went to Colca by way of this national park and its a great trip taking you to a high of 4.900 meters and offering views of active vulcanoes and other Andes summits and the elusive vicunas

Where you can see a lot of vicunas! They are very cute animals. Puno - Chivay route or Puno - Arequipa route tourist buses will stop at this point.
