The Puente Grau (bridge) is an interesting mix of construction/architecture and has a great view of the river and falls. It's also convenient to get across the river to see some of the best sites. But, it's not something that's worth going to see just...More

It's just a bridge, folks - the one you'll likely cross if you're wandering between the Plaza de Armas and the Yanahuara lookout. Views are nice, but sidewalks are quite narrow, traffic is constant and the bus fumes are overpowering from start to finish. A...More

The bridge itself isn't anything to write home about, I don't think, but the views from around the bridge are really nice. It's easy to walk to from the city center, so it's good to put on your list of things to do/see in Arequipa.

Crossing this bridge over the Chili river is nice, because on one side you have the riverine city of Arequipa, and on the other the Chilina valley and Selva Alegre park.

This is the biggest and most interesting bridge that crosses from the city centre to the west and gives great views of the surrounding volcanoes as well as the river thundering below. There's a craft market on the east side.

If you wander over to Yanahuara, you will cross this bridge. either coming or going, upstream, you get a picture of the river plus a park and the volcanos, downstream has more whitewater and city. Nice park on the downriver side, great for couples!

if you come down Ayacucho street, you can cross the Chili river on this old stone bridge. Good place to take some pictures of the city, of the volcanoes, and of the river. There is always a lot of traffic (cars and busses going to...More

This is a new built bridge. Very beautiful archecture. It is set in front of the volcanoes, so they make a lovely back drop for pictures. Close by, you can take pictures of the amazing volcanoes.
