Great couple of hours

We did a chocolate workshop here on our last day in cusco. It was great fun & we got lots of yummy chocolates to take home. The cafe serves great food & drinks. Not to be missed!

Visited the museo a couple times while we were in Cusco- an amazing variety of different chocolate to choose from along with coffee and other treats. Although we did not make chocolate due to lack of timing I would recommend to anyone they try- I heard only great reports of the process.

A very interesting display of how the various types of chocolate is made. Lots of samples are given out as you are guided through this free attraction, and there is a small shop that you can buy food and goods at.

I visited this store on my way to Cusco. I misunderstood my guides recommendation and bought a bag of chocolate bars. I thought he said to eat COCOA. Turns out it was CACAO. Oh well, it was a delicious error!! And the altitude in Cusco didn't affect me in any case. The ChocoMuseo had so many types of chocolate. It... More
