Quechuas Expeditions(Small and private Groups Specialists)The Best Local Tour Operator Sustainable tourism consists on providing direct and/or indirect benefits to the communities that are visited. Whenever it is possible, this is done through sustainable activities that protect the environment and the participation in social projects that help local communities and protected areas, always providing a high quality service.Being ecologically responsible on a trip doesn’t mean sacrificing the quality of the stay nor the travel plans. It basically consists on planning the visit in a more conscientious way.We firmly believe the communities visited must get a direct benefit, whenever possible, through the sustainable trips, environment protection, and social projects.

I was on the Wild Women Expeditions(WWE) hiking excursion to Peru to see Machu Picchu. A four day trek in the Andean mountains, camping under the stars and between high peaks, walking beside llamas and alpacas, going through the mist of rain forests and wild orchids, seeing local women weavers and much more that had gave me a profound experience... My friend and I scheduled the 5-day Salkantay Trek without pre-planning, literally from today for tomorrow. Quechuas Expeditions were able to put together a trek starting the next day and since we were the only customers that day we got to have the guide, Renzo, all to ourselves. I highly recommend the trek and especially the guide Renzo Valencia. The... More

We went on a 5d/4n trek to Machu Picchu via Salkantay with a friend. The guide Renzo, the cook Armando, and the horseman Antonio made for an unforgettable trip. The scenery is really breathtaking: On the first day we visited a blue lake perched between mountains, the second day, the toughest one, it gently snowed at 4,630m, the third day... More

Made a last minute decision to sign up for the half day ATV tour to Moras & Moray and it was awesome. We drove about an hour to the location where we picked up our ATVs and then went to Moras and Moray on the ATVs. The views on the way were the best part! Great company to go with.

We travelled to the jungle for a 3d 2n expedition. We stayed in their lodge and had an absolutely wonderful time. The food was amazing, our guide Annabella was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and our individual needs and interests were taken into account. We particularly enjoy our visit to Lake Sandoval. The lodge was beautiful.

Can not recommend this enough. Awesome food and tons of its, awesome guide, and the trek itself is absolutely beautiful. Fairly strenuous, with a lot of walking and elevation change packed into 5 days, so prepare for a bit of a challenge fitness-wise, but I liked that aspect of it personally.

I couldn´t think of a better guide than the one we got from Quechuas Expeditions. I can´t stand on a chair without feeling dizzy and I did the two-daytrail to Machu Picchu. It had been impossible for me to do this without our guide Willy. He hold my hand on the worst parts and I think I haven´t survived without... More

The only issue we had (and from what we found out, multiple had the same issue) was that our information on our entrance ticket to Machu Picchu was incorrect. Our passport numbers were switched between my husband and me and they even listed another hiker as being 116 years old (he is 26 so that's a strange mistake). Thankfully we... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the short Inca trail thanks to our excellent guide. But we were misinformed about the price and the conditions when we were about to book. Instead of what they said, there was no group to join so we paid full price and we had to carry everything (our stuff, plus food and water). If we'd known, we... More

Like most people visiting Peru and Machu Picchu, the Inca trail was the most anticipated activity our trip and the for which we had the highest expectations. I glad to say that our experience with Queshua Expeditions was, by far, above expectations! We ate so well during the trail and I have to admit that it was better than most... More
