Churches in Peru are full of gold and silver and are all very ornate, this one is beautiful and has Inca influences which make it more interesting.

You can easily visit this church in an hour and it is worth the time. We went with a guide which allowed us to learn about the real history of the church and important features that we would have missed.

My colleague reviewers were right, most of the people just visit the main cathedrale. This church and convent is even as impressive with its unique setup and art pieces. There are much less people and you can watch everything in quiet.

The audio tour included with Admission did a very good job of pointing out the link between the Spanish Catholicism and the local Andino religions. Highlight was the first cross brought to South America is still displayed.

This church is in the center of everything so it would be hard for you not to see this church. It has so many priceless treasures you really should see this. Give it a good half hour just to walk through it.
