We organize tours, travelling across the Amazonian jungle, led by our team of professional guides, who are also natives from the area. They know perfectly the surrounding environment and its diversity. From the port of Iquitos, taking a boat through waters of the Amazon river, we will go deeper into the virgin jungle, discovering both its diversity of flora and fauna , furthermore understanding the Amazonian beliefs and cosmogony.

Unfortunately we had only one day to visit Wimba Lodge, but left us a good taste of it, so we need to come back and enjoy a longer stay.

I booked 4 days (3 nights) with Wimba Tours and stayed at their Wimba Lodge in the jungle. It was a really relaxing and enjoyable time there, a nice mix of little excursions along the river or walking in the jungle and free time to enjoy the swimming pool or sleep. This was a simple tour with basic accommodation but... More

Having booked this through the hotel we were staying with we didn't actually ask what company it was with so pulling up outside the wimba office the following day I was a bit anxious after having read some mixed reviews. The lodge itself is actually a lot better than expected, the pool was clean and the room was basic but... More

The bathroom had mold growing up the walls, the pool was brown, the screens were torn. We asked for a refund and had to get the police involved to get a partial refund. We booked with them because of the excellent TripAdvisor rating.

I would definitely not recommend this company . They have sales people everywhere so you will definitely come across them . Our tuc tuc driver from the airport even brought us here without being asked. Definitely avoid them at all costs. We had a nice relaxing break and their accommodation was really nice and that was all the pros really... More

Overall great value. The good: One of the cheapest tours I was able to find at $120 per person. Lodge is in a non-government regulated area so outside the Pacaya reserve. Great if you only have 3 days or less. I would probably try to find a lodge inside the reserve if I had more days. Picked us right up... More

We visited Iquitos and stopped at two different tour operators. Wimba had the best value for a one day tour. They sent us a MotoTaxi to our hotel to start the tour. Took us by boat to their sanctuary where we interacted with the animals they had there. We then visited their lodge where we had lunch and fed the... More
