I had read many great reviews and so chose this school for 2 weeks of group lessons prior to 2 additional weeks of travel in Peru. I had been studying Spanish in US for 6 months so had a prior understanding of the language. I was placed in a class that, basically, did grammar exercises on paper for 4 hours... More

I definitely recommend this Spanish school. It´s one of the best not only for the quality of the teaching staff but also for the activities, advice and a good location in Miraflores. the teachers are all very nice and welcoming. You learn Spanish without being in a too formal relationship ´teacher-student' but more like friends.

I came in with zero knowledge of Spanish but after only 3 classes, I'm now able to have a basic understanding and ability to order food in restaurants, which is usually what most people need to get by anyways. Professor Carlos was very enthusiastic in his teaching and always made sure everyone in the group have a chance to speak... More

I had the opportunity to spend 2.5 months as a student at Peruwayna and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The teachers here are truly incredible. I started with zero knowledge of Spanish and ended the program at level B1 (intermediate) with an ability to converse and understand the language. The class sizes are small (max of 5 people) and the... More

I spent one month at Peruwayna with absolutely zero knowledge of Spanish before I started. Now, I can say (and after visiting 2 other language schools in South America) that Peruwayna has the best value and quality that I've seen. I loved my teacher (Marianna is fantastic) and really enjoyed the social aspect of the school - coffee breaks, celebrating... More

Spent 2.5 months there from December 2016 to February 2017 and had a great time. Located in Miraflores, you are close to the seaside and just the atmosphere of the district is a plus for itself. Teachers are professionals who understand their business, and during my time all the students I met (including myself) made an incredible progress. Group sizes... More

I stayed for 4 weeks with the primary goal of improving my Spanish. I picked the school based off of TripAdvisor reviews, and I'm glad I followed the advice of my fellow reviewers. Location: This school is located in Miraflores, one of the safest and among the most beautiful neighborhoods in Lima. There are security guards everywhere, and I never... More

I took five weeks of Spanish classes at Peruwayna from Dec 16 to Jan 17 (and stayed seven weeks in the shared apartment offered by the school). If you are thinking about learning Spanish in South America Peruwayna should be one of your very first options. The staff around Aaron and Laura is highly dedicated and do a great job.... More
