A visit to Miraflores is a must - the spectular vistas from above to the ocaen underneath is breathtaking! Don't miss Parque del' amor - very nice! The Larcomar (?) shopping center offers great shopping a a great variety of excellent reastaurants and cafes.

Miraflores is a beautiful district! You are in close proximity to many different spots that you can walk to under 20 minutes most times. It is a busy area where you will find many locals and tourists!

Nice break from the mall. Wide range of stores offering local and international wares. Surprised by the number of U.S. fast food chain restaurants next to the local restaurants.

We stayed in this district during our 3 night stay in Lima and only had to get a cab when we went downtown. You can find amazing places to eat, markets, the beach and even archaeological sites (Huaca Pucllana) within walking distance. Put your sneakers...More

Miraflores is safe even into midnight: a tourist friendly area. Lots of restaurants and hotels. Supermarkets are all over the place. Kennedy Park, Lacromar mall, Incar and Pervuian markets, and Hua Pucllna are within walking distance.

Lovely lovely neighborhood with parks and boulevards. Good shopping, good restaurants and a great walkway along the Pacific shore that features gorgeous sun sets. The place to stay if your in Lima for a short time

The area reminds me of Southern California. Beautiful landscaping and great views. However, it is an outlier because much of the rest of the city is rather poor and run down.

A good area to stay in Lima to be both safe and secure. We were able to walk around day and night to all kinds of stores.

The JW Marriott is lovely. Not sure they have a bar on an upper level though. Maybe just take a stroll along the water. Should be fun!!
