A very nice church inside and out. You don't need a guide and it will only take about 10 minutes for a good look.

This used to be a cloistered nunnery for females and houses the "mercedes" of Saint Rose of Lima. It has intricate lamps, furniture of the period and beautiful naves in the church.

Three saints have their stories tied to this church and convent. Saint Rose of Lima the most famous, the lady of the flowers, a beautiful story. The church is beautiful, more like a cathedral

The decorations in the Chapel of Saint Rose were beautiful. The history of the Chapel and Saint was interesting.

My home parish ion Long Island, New York was St. Rose of Lima (pronounced like the bean) so it was a natural visit. Very tranquil and a bit off the tourist path so it's a good visit. Lots about the saint's life.
