A last minute decision for us to head out, we were recommended to come here for live music by the reception desk at our hostel. There was a local jazz band playing, so all the music was in Spanish, and although we didn't understand the lyrics the musicians were very good and played a tight gig. The beers were s/.12... More

Whenever we travel we try and find a music venue and this fit the bill perfectly. Great blues the evening we were there. There was a cover charge of 20 sols which was worth it. Mid week so quiet but it was a large venue with a big bar and waitress service. Shut at midnight but we left happy.

We arrived at 8, place was empty, they told us take a table anywhere & show starts 8:30. 5 minutes before show started, a ticket taker approached and demanded 60S instead of 50S, and that... More

We were lucky to be in Lima when the Jazz Zone actually had a Peruvian Jazz band scheduled to play as the vast majority of nights in February the live acts are Stand Up Comedians! The Peruvian Jazz Sextet led by Gabriel Alegria was excellent. The sound was mostly good if you were sitting in front of the stage (which... More

I have been to Jazzone every trip to Lima in the last four years and hope they stay in business forever providing a great place for music, drinks and dancing. The quality of their entertainment is superb. I have had the pleasure of seeing Cosa Nuestra, Orq, Sonido Latino with Pacho Hurtado, Charanga Mayor and others. The wait staff is... More

My wife wanted to give the Jazz Zone ago while we were in Lima. It wasn't long before she began to regret it. After getting stung for 15 Sols each on an entry ticket. We were then gutted to see bottled beer at around 10 Sols, some 4 times the price of the same product in the supermarket around the... More
