The Intipunku trail or Puerta del Sol is a very good trail to hike once you are in Machupicchu. The view is excellent, The hike is 1.20 miles up and 1.20 down. Almos 9000 ft over sea level.

We were told by our guide that this stone entrance was one of the original entrances in Machu Picchu. Pretty well preserved and worth stopping to see.

This is a rock gateway within the Machu Picchu site. As with the whole site this is interesting and well preserved.

Well worth the hike up from Machu Picchu. It took around 1-2 hours to get there but the views and the photos we took were incredible.
