We had been talking about going there for more than 50 years... and were not disappointed! Had to go basck in again after lunch and enjoy more of the magic of this fabulous site, The view, the craftmanship, the atmosphere, the mystery of it all!

I climbd these steps while on tour in Lima, Cuzco, and Machu-pichu. The whole experience is exhilirating, especially if you like ancient history, like I do.

Great views after hard climbing, hiking. Narrow steps built into incredibly steep inclines. Well worth doing if moderately fit.

This place is certainly one of the seven wonder of the world in my opinion. If you do the trail get ready to walk a lot in any temperature. Humidity is heavy and the sun is tropical. You need strong sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

there is a lot of hiking, and a lot of stairs to get to these attractions in machu picchu. be prepared and make sure you are wearing decent shoes.

Really interesting farming/research center that the Incas built. You have a choice on the path to take the quick way and get to the camp site in 30 mins or to go through Intipata which adds 2 hours... it's worth it. Extremely steep so not...More

Our inca trail group loved this site. Intipata offered great views of the river below. Lots of stairs to climb through this ruin.
