    Absolutely perfect!
It was absolutely fantastic, We loved the tour experience, Terra Quechua Peru made sure we were well informed about all the times and details and made our trip to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu very memorable. We learned a lot about the ruins of Ollantaytambo. We learned a lot about the Inca culture and the history of the Andean cross. We stayed in a beautiful hotel in Aguas Calientes before heading to Machu Picchu. We had a great tour of Machu Picchu, undoubtedly one of the best landscapes the world has to offer. You should not miss the opportunity to visit Peru.

Best trip ever with Uncover Latin America
Just finished our visit to World Wonder, Machu Picchu and it was epic! We had a wonderful 10 day trip with Uncover Latin America who are a Travel Agency who came highly recommended to me by my cousin. Every detail of our trip was taken care of we just had to rock up and enjoy. Loved the hotels picked for us, the guides were really on their game, our guide Pedro at Machu Picchu was especially good. We had perfect weather traveling in May and enjoyed our Buffet Lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge and scenic train ride aboard the Vistadome. We did the hike up to Machu Picchu mountain which is a complimentary hike you can do at Machu Picchu but need to book in advance. We visited the Sacred Valley before Machu Picchu and stayed at the Sol y Luna which was a divine experience. We are going to miss Peru it was on our bucket list for such a long time and glad we finally got here post covid.

Traveling to Machupicchu gives me enormous satisfaction!!!
It was a wonderful experience in Machupicchu! I visited many places without having to worry about transportation, lodging, entrance fees, etc. The agency Terra Quechua Peru took care of everything and adjusted the itinerary to my taste and budget. There were some unforeseen events but as soon as I informed the agency they took care of it, always very attentive and friendly. They made my vacation an unforgettable experience. ✈ Thank you very much Terra Quechua Peru, for so much care and dedication towards me and your great professionalism.

A True Wonder of the World
Located a twenty minute uphill bus ride from the town of Aqua Calientes we arrived at the bus stop 7:30am to join the long queue of tourists already assembled there. Tickets are sold online some 4k of them for each day and an extra 900 at the ticket office in town for in person sales only. The journey to the top includes many hairpin bends and affords wonderful views of the surrounding areas. There are toilet facilities at the unloading site for a small charge, a buffet restaurant and surprisingly a hotel. From here it is a small walk uphill to the amazing Inca site. Our G Adventures guide gave us an informative 3 hour guided tour on what was a beautiful sunny morning.

    What an amazing trip!!!
I'm so happy I booked this 2 day Machupicchu+Sacred Valley package. Terra Quechua Peru made everything so easy. We had a fantastic tour guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate. Everyone was punctual and took very good care of us. Even the train tickets were well chosen and gave us a view of the mountains on the way from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes and the view of the river on the way back. The stops at the archaeology sites were amazing and well explained and included brief exploration times. Day 2 at Machu Picchu was fabulous, our guide explained the logistics, was on time, very knowledgeable, patient and clear. Good value for money and frees you from having to book them all yourself. Overall we enjoyed our tour very much.

Brilliant vacation with Uncover Latin America
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Chris and the entire team at Uncover Latin America for curating an unforgettable adventure for my family and me to the awe-inspiring wonder of the world, Machu Picchu. While the sheer grandeur of Machu Picchu exceeded our expectations, it was the remarkable journey leading up to it that left an indelible mark on us. The scenic train ride that carried us to our destination was a picturesque delight, setting the tone for the adventure that awaited. The winding road through lush, subtropical landscapes as we ascended towards Machu Picchu was an experience in itself, showcasing the natural beauty that surrounded us. Our guide proved to be a true gem, enriching our visit with insightful commentary and historical context that breathed life into the ancient ruins before us. After our enlightening tour of Machu Picchu, we indulged in a well-deserved lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge, where the tranquility and stunning vistas only enhanced the dining experience. From the captivating tours to the sumptuous meals and the exceptional accommodations leading up to our Machu Picchu expedition, every aspect of our journey was nothing short of outstanding. The level of service we received throughout was of the highest caliber, truly reflecting a world-class standard. For anyone seeking an extraordinary travel experience that seamlessly combines adventure and luxury, I wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to Chris and the remarkable team at Uncover Latin America. Their expertise and dedication ensured that our adventure to Machu Picchu became an unforgettable chapter in our family's travel story.

Great visit to an historical place. It was like a fantasy adventure. I'm glad I went before I got too old. I like the llamas. I'm glad we took the bus instead of trying to hike.

    Absolutely glorious!
This really is a once in a lifetime experience. Glorious and stunning. I didn’t do any hiking just followed the standard trail with a guide - approx 30 mins uphill to start. The photos don’t do it justice and I will always remember my spiritual visit here.

It is a dream come true, magnificent ruins of the historic citadel that is a must visit if you go to Peru. It is true that it is a bit crowded but the staff tries to control the situation. Beautiful nature and Andean ruins. The road was beautiful and full of adventures, including the train ride.

    Machu Picchu and Vainu Picchu
The view of the ruins and mountains in the sunrise is an unforgettable memory. To climb the summit, Vainu Picchu was a feat but worth every sweat drop. We also experienced thunder and rain, which made it more magical

Excellent experience with the agency Terra Quechua Peru that I hired, I booked everything perfect on the tour to Machu Picchu (that is very important) the guide was very good, very professional and entertaining, The Sanctuary is really spectacular. One thing is to see it in photos and another, totally different, is to feel the sensations that this magical place makes you experience.

There are several routes to visit the ruins, so you have to choose one, as you can't go all the way around (unless you pay a new entrance fee) and the sanitary services are good. Very useful tip, buy your entrance ticket in advance.

Machu Picchu should be on every traveller's bucket list for its beautiful views, history and incredible treks

My 4th trip to this amazing site in 5 years! Yes, it is THAT stunning.

These ruins are a testament to the engineering skills of the Inca. It's a powerful experience to walk through and realize the energy of this city.

Since the city rests at approximately 7,500ft, take time to acclimate before visiting. Go slow while exploring.

Machu Picchu truly lives up to its status as one of the seven wonders of the world. A global must-see, our trip was centered around this iconic site, and the experience was nothing short of breathtaking. We were amazed from the moment we arrived. Planning ahead, we reserved a private guided tour six months in advance, and it was a decision well worth it. Our guide, Jeni, was not only an expert historian, painting vivid pictures of the past, but also an exceptional photographer, capturing our memories against the stunning backdrop of the ancient ruins.

We were graced with perfect weather, and while we came prepared for cold, rain, and heat, it was quite warm at times. Thus, I recommend bringing plenty of sunscreen. Before embarking on your tour, I suggest using the restroom and stowing any non-essential items in the lockers available for 5 soles. This way, you’re free to explore unencumbered.

The tour itself lasted around three hours, but the time investment is well justified. There are rumors of potential closures, which I’m skeptical about given the site’s economic significance to the region. However, certain areas are being restricted due to human impact and natural wear over time, so my advice is to visit sooner rather than later to fully experience Machu Picchu’s grandeur. This ancient marvel is a testament to human ingenuity and the power of preservation.

An absolutely incredibly beautiful and magical location. It just takes your breath away. Things I didn’t realize about MP before being here: 1) it’s in a jungle and has crazy high humidity. 2) the ruins aren’t the most incredible aspect of MP, its the location itself surrounded by an amphitheater of mountains all around with waterfalls, other ruins, mystical clouds, and the Urubamba river winding by below. The one downside is that you have to follow a set circuit instead of exploring on your own, so you cannot see everything you want to see. But regardless, its worth every penny and effort to get there. We lucked out with perfect weather in late March with no rain on both days we were there!

ThIs Hotel is one of the finest we have stayed at. From the facility, to the food and drinks, location and the people! We visited Machu Picchu a week ago. My experience started with arriving sick! I spoke to front desk and was taken to a doctor and was diagnosed with a gastric infection and given meds. The Beckman who took me to the clinic, next door, and brought me back to my room. He checked on me 2x’s that day. I was brought electrolytes and a prescription from the Dr. The next morning I was again checked on and the Dr. made a house call to check on me. The waiter in restaurant was told of my condition and I was given broth and chicken with rice. The Doctors orders. Again I was checked on by the staff. I was given a bill by the doctor, which the hotel forwarded cash to pay. The general manager of the hotel came to check on me, got me more electrolyte drinks and extended checkout to allow me to use facilities after visiting Machu Picchu, a mere 50 yards away. As I left, again the GM and front desk staff as well as bellman came to inquire.

Now for the hotel!! It is truly a special place. Right at the entrance to Machu Picchu. No expense spared in the property, well appointed, our room had king bed, outdoor private terrace great bathroom with spacious shower and amenities such as unlimited drinks, ponchos, fruit plate and high end bathroom supplies. Including mosquito repellent and foot cream. Repellent worked! Food was excellent, even the broth w/chicken and rice. We were on a tour, but if we ever return I will make sure that we stay here, no mater the cost.

I can’t say enough about this hotel. Suffice it to say that we have stayed at 5 Star hotels in US Europe, Australia and the UK, this is the one that I will remember!

From bus pick up in Agua de Calientes to return: excellent! Rain stopped when we reached the top...just magical views as sun came up and mist rose from the swirling cloud in the valleys so far below; informative and fun tour guide, but certainly, if able a must see. PS The walk was easy with stone steps to negotiate but slow paced and easily managed

Terra Quechua Peru A perfect travel agent for Peru. We did the Sacred Valley and Machu Pichu tour with the group and the trip was managed perfectly. Everything on the trip was coordinated by Edwin and we couldn't have asked for anything better, Diego (our guide was top notch, super warm and very knowledgeable).
Machu Picchu is a treasure beyond words. It is a journey through time, a spiritual experience and a reminder of the human capacity to create wonders that stand the test of time. The thrill of being in this unique place is something that lingers long after you have left its mysterious ruins, and the panoramic views of the Sacred Valley are simply breathtaking.
