I did this short walk on my own while my other half rested a sore knee. It was not as challenging as it appears looking up from the town square; as others have said, it takes about 30 minutes with good fitness to reach the...More

This was a great hike to see some ruins, it's short and not too high but you get some great views of the valley. And it's FREE!

This is a good day hike if you are in Ollantaytambo. Takes about ~30 min to get up the Granaries - it is worth the hike. You and hike above the granaries for a wonderful, but the path is steep and narrow. Be sure to...More

Very rewarding short hike. There are two forks. Take them both! It's steep, but not impossible if you're in reasonable shape.

This is a really interesting place to visit in Ollantaytambo. The granary is located on the mountain side high above the town and it provides an excellent view of the surrounding area. Great place for photos but be aware it is not a cake walk...More

The graneries up top are pretty cool. I came to the sacred valley 20 years ago, and the crowds were nothing like they are now. You could basically explore wherever you wanted among all the ruins. This site is still like that - no restrictions...More
