Although there are some interesting ruins, this is where you go to get your souvenirs. Probably the best shopping or market in the area.

Really a fascinating place that highlights the remarkable history and ingenuity of the Incas. The site is perfectly preserved and a great example of how important farming was to the Incas and how they perfected it in so many ways.

What a wonderful experience to see this incredible work of the Incas and how they sett out the terracing for their farming - you must request to see this. We were there late in the day and it was fine, think the crowds had been.

The scale of these terraces and their purpose clearly demonstrates the Incan understanding of the natural world. The symmetry of the design is simply beautiful. The circuit around the site is steep and slippery in places so care is required.

Awe! Does not begin to describe what one sees when climbing/experiencing this site. The terraces. The history. The science and hard work that it took to create all that you see and experience, is mind-boggling. The water-works that allowed water to flow thru the village....More
