Great experience

We spent an afternoon working on a ceramic tile. This is a lovely talented artisan family. What a treat to spend time with them

Our visit to Semenario's gallery was a pleasant surprise, including a meeting with Pablo Semenario himself, where he e planned his unique vision.

We went with an OAT, Overseas Adventure Travel, group. The artist is personable and humble. He trains staff to do various works. The shop itself includes work by the artisans as well as ones done by him. I purchased one that was done by he and his wife. He was kind enough to take a photo with myself and the... More

Pablo Seminario does some fine ceramics work and has established a great gallery for affordable pieces. We were able to meet Pablo and he was fantastic! He spent quite a while with us, explaining his work and posing for photos. His staff was great, as well. They wrapped and boxed the items we bought so we could carry them home... More

The art is amazing but if you want to spend all your money in it. You cant put i Price on art but if you are in a tight Budget or just in a normal Budget, consider other places to buy. If i had money to spend i would have buy one of their ceramics.

We discovered this hidden gem thanks to Trip Advisor!! This is a must-see. The house of world-renowned Master Sculptor/Ceramist Seminario is quite big and receives lots of visitors. All visitors get to tour the house (which includes a pretty garden with llamas and birds) and go through the different stations of ceramic work, seeing the local artisans at work. We... More

Pablo Seminario has 60 pieces in the Field Museum in Chicago. His studio is a wonderful place to visit. He and his wife both spent time with our group. They were both very charming despite the fact that their dog was undergoing surgery that day! There is a beautiful gift shop and they will pack and ship for you. Shipping... More

We discovered this workshop by chance on a lovely, quiet street lined with trees on both sides. Just the street alone was a pleasant change from the bustle and crowdiness of the other streets in the center of Urubamba. Upon entering we were treated to an even nicer surprise, a handsome building that served as workshop and store for artists... More

On my first day in the Sacred Valley, adjusting to altitude before going to Machu Picchu later in the week, I was privileged to tour the Seminario workshop and gallery in Urubamba. I highly recommend it. Pablo Seminario, his wife Marilu Behar and a team of artisans carefully hand make creative ceramics mixing the contemporary with ancient Andean techniques and... More

Pablo Seminario creates new cermaics using ancient Perucvian techniques and designs. The store is in front of the shop, and the staff has video and other presentations to show how they do the work. His pieces are traditional, a bit whimseical, and beautifully colored. Prices on his works were attractive.
