Interesting historical items from Fiji with beautiful double hulled ship inside. Home of a very impressive collection of beautiful masas - painted tree bark cloths upstairs. They also showcase the rudder of the Bounty!

A good old fashioned museum with artefacts in glass cases - nothing interactive here and we liked it because of that. Simple informative displays of Fiji through the ages

Easy to get to on foot. Very pleasant and helpful staff, and a great giftshop. Thanks to Sami, who personally organised a fabulous whole day tour for me, which I couldn't find elsewhere in Suva, and followed up afterwards. It really made my stay!

Beautiful museum items well disposed, especially the tabua and the tapa. More than worth a visit in a beautiful garden.

Very informative on the history of the Fijians (I had not realised they were cannibals in previous years!) Quite an eye opener. Recommend a visit here.

It is a small museum set in a lovely park. The exhibites are modest with the exception of the two great canoes. It is worth a piece of time to visit but not something very special.

Set in beautiful gardens, the outside of the museum doesn't do justice to the information and artefacts inside. Not only is there history of Fiji, but in encompasses various cultures and their influence on what makes Fiji today. We paid at the door and honestly...More
