The bell itself, created from bullet casings collected by children, is a nice sentiment. Sadly the surrounding wall has been defaced with graffiti, and the site (beside the decaying Hoxha pyramid) is far from ideal.

The peace bell you can find it just in front of the Pyramid - the former Museum of Enver Hoxha, the Dictator. This bell has been brought from one of the churches in the North of Albania that the comunist regime has destroyed after declaring...More

It's really scruffy and rather ugly. However, it is nice story that it was made with melted down bullets after the violent troubles of the 90's Albanian financial meltdown. That makes it noteworthy. So as a symbol, it does have meaning.

Next ro Hoxha Pyramid and easy to reach. Nothing special, but worth to visit when taking walk tour in the city.

Well this "thing" is neither nice to see nor to hear as it it is awfully loud... no explanation about why it is here and the setting around is very poor. Not interesting

The peace bell is set in a main square and highlights the journey last millenium to the next. A bridge takes you past the bell which is made from old bullet casings.

The bell is in a pretty park in the center of the city. It has a very interesting history and is worth a look.

This bell was made of used bullet shells. It is supposed to be symbolic. There is a narrow piece of wood to walk across and you can ring the bell for peace.

Created from the casings of old bullets by a priest from Italy in 1990's. It is a worthy example of what can be achieved.
