One of the historical places in Tiran. Opening in 9 a.m.. Built in 1793 by Ottomans. Closed during the comunist rule, re-opened in 1990s.

The mosque is located at the biggest tirana's square and it has great historical importance thanks to the still life frescoes which is extremely rare in the Islamic arts. Make sure to take ur shoes off at the entrance.

I'm not a Moslem but felt genuinely welcome to visit this Mosque and sensed its history is representative of the more peaceful nature of this great religion... On the tourist track...and also on the learning track...also great meeting spot...can't miss it near the square...
