Nice impressive obelisk. well preserved and maintained. The square is very clean and easily accessed from any direction. The metro station is right under the square. Instant fire is very nice and recommended to visit this site at night as well.

This is an iconic memorial to the fallen Belorussian veterans of WWII. It is located in the center of Minsk.

This is the main square in Minsk, a very welcomed place. The buildings surrounding this monument and the square are united in style during Stalin's time.

Every 4th inhabitant of Belorussia was killed during WW II. In a memory of Victory in that awful war this square was built.

It's a good place to see the various types of architecture that are found in Minsk, but aside from that, it's just another square.
