Just 1 KM and you can see Sarajevo from the 36th floor just beneath you. Unfortunately it is impossible to see the Old town with its mosques and tiny streets, but buildings in the hills and famous Holiday Hotel are very well seen. I recommend...More

This whole area is interesting, with among others the old train station, the Avaz Twist Tower, and some memorial wall paintings from the war. The tower stands out, being something shiny and modern in a somewhat old and worn down part of the city.

For 0.5 euro you can have stunning view of Sarajevo. Plus you can see the contrast of rich and poor, just next to this tower of glass are houses in ruins still recovering from war.

A very nice place to visit and drink a glass of wine. Not the best view available but for a tower fanatics a must place.

Went to the tower cause we saw it upon our arival at the bus station. It is outside the city center but it's not too far. Rough contrasts are seen when comparing the modern tower with surrounding neighbourhood though. However, when you are up this...More
