Unfortunately you can not see anything from the brewery, so don't expect to have an exhausting, long visit to discover the hidden secrets of beer-making. In fact the museum is a small room full of advertisements and other materials mainly from the late 19th century....More

Whilst it's a bit off the beaten track, outside the main city (although only about a 15 - 20 minute walk) this place is well worth finding. It's been in existence for over 150 years, and was opened under Ottoman rule - quite a feat...More

The brewery has been around for more than 150 years. That alone should get you to visit. The interior is lovely and the staff is very attentive. I only came for the beer which was great!

If you like beer, this is definitely a nice place to go for a pint or two! The Dark beer is really tasty and everything is available draft. Remember; this is essentially a pub so food is usually average. Service was friendly and prompt! Overall...More

Sarajevo Brewery exists over 150 years - it opened in 1864 as the first local industry and shortly became one of leading producers in Bosnia, with considerable amounts exported to Montenegro, Croatia and Albania. Just before World War I, Sarajevska Pivara was producing 116,000 hl...More

Apart from being an interesting building (of the beer factory) it also includes a restaurant-museum, where you can have some freshly produced beer and order some food. If you're in the neighbourhood and a beer-lover, don't miss this place.

A beautiful room with vaulted ceilings and a special atmosphere that befits an old brewery. We just stopped for a couple of drinks (including non-alcoholic) and really enjoyed the ambiance. Friends went for dinner and enjoyed that, too. A nice stop, especially on a hot...More

You can drink here Sarajevsko on tap, that is produced in brewery next door. Also you can have normal lunch or dinner and great desserts.

Museum not up to much really and should be free rather than the 3km which they charge. Brewery tap is pleasant enough though and you could spend a couple of hours sampling the wares in here. Good range of food also available.

The museum is interesting with info in English but you have finished in 20 minutes. They have a brewery tap where the beer is reasonably priced and you have a range of beer not found generally in Sarajevo. The brewery tap is an interesting building...More
