Imposing, historic and huge place to have a beer. I like the local beer Sarajevsko and this at the source, where you can also have it unfiltered. service is not overly friendly but sufficient.

The beer museum provides some great history and you can buy a ticket for a beer or meal. The history of the brewery follows that of Sarajevo. The beers on tap and bottle are varied. The Radler was crisp and cold while the dark beer...More

This is a beautiful building and one we would have revisited in our few days in the city. It took 15 mins to order a beer, every time we tried we were told to wait!! Eventually we appeared to be allowed to order one. Our...More

One of the nicest restaurants in Sarajevo, the interiors are really nice and clean. The food was excellent and you can try lots of beer types. Its highly recommended.

The brewery's building is very beautiful. We were excited about the guided tour and the museum....BUT! There isn't a production at the factory on weekends, so you can not enter the brewery. Besides the fact that it was a huge disappointment, neither the information on...More

What an interesting place - loved the lively music indigenous to the region/country. Beer was made on premises which made it unique. Really kool architecture inside and out. Only setback was smoke! It's still allowed; and as an occasional cigarillo smoker, it was even too...More

I knew from doing some research that the museum wasn't the best, but the inside of the restaurant/pub is worth the visit. The brewery is around 150 years old and the decor inside matches that perfectly. It is definitely worth stopping in for a beer.

Unfortunately you can not see anything from the brewery, so don't expect to have an exhausting, long visit to discover the hidden secrets of beer-making. In fact the museum is a small room full of advertisements and other materials mainly from the late 19th century....More

Whilst it's a bit off the beaten track, outside the main city (although only about a 15 - 20 minute walk) this place is well worth finding. It's been in existence for over 150 years, and was opened under Ottoman rule - quite a feat...More
