I'm not sure if the museum was undergoing renovation, but while we visited there was only a small exhibition of the siege of Sarajevo and one about cultural vandalism during the civil war. Everything was very patriotic, not contextulizing or trying to make us understand...More

Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country that has such a diverse and interesting history, this museum could do so much better. It still is a must-visit site for everyone interested in history.

Emotional visit. I went there with my children and they enjoyed educational part of visit, but I was touched to the level of crying. Very informative place and worth of visiting.

A museum that has interesting exhibits and story to tell . The exhibition on the Jewish families in Bosnia is really good. Lots of reading or you can get it all on your phone
