Definitely visit it, even for just one walk! Vitosha, the ancient Scomius or Scombrus is a volcanic mountain massif, on the outskirts of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Vitosha is one of the symbols of Sofia and the closest site for hiking, alpinism and skiing.

very late but might help others. taxi is about 23Euro from centre. i didnt rely on buses (they do have them)
