Most people who visit this little village are most likely coming to visit the beautiful frescos at the Boyana Church. But the other main attraction has to been the access to some wonderful hiking trails on Mt. Vitosha.

Take a walk around the village and look at the different architecture in the houses. I suspect this is where you move to when you have made a bit of money.

The village itself probably wouldn't be that remarkable if there wasn't situated one of the UNESCO's heritage list sites - The Boyana church. It is more like an extension of the city and it combines the freshness of the Vitosha mountain with the chic of Sofia, with expensive houses and pricey hotels. At the heart of it is the exceptional Boyana church –... More

Nothing special in particular to see in Boyana village other than the Boyana church and the Boyana waterfall which is in the mountain above Boyana.

The Boyana village is the most exclusive residential quarter of Sofia. The fiirst Renaissance church is also here - the Boyana church. There are beautifull villas and nice restaurants.
