Dessi was amazing!! She shared a lot of information about the history of the city with humor and it was a really great to experience someone enjoying the city this much. She also recommended a lot of places to go and visit and provide us with bits of anecdotes that made the 2 hour tour feels too short. I definetly recommend her and the tour!

Dimitar was amazing! After a few hours, you feel like you've made a friend for life. No matter the weather, he makes the experience amazing. He interacts with the group, speaks all the languages in the world (or at least, it feels like it) and answers all our questions. He recommended a restaurant that served us one of the BEST meals of our entire lives. You should definitely follow him around Sofia!

Very interesting and informative tour led by Stefan. On top of that, the in-depth description of the genocide against the Turkish minority made a remarkable difference to the usual narrative of Bulgarian tourist guides. P.S. The illustrated 500-page "Guide to Communist Bulgaria" (available in English and Bulgarian) is a good addition to the live tour. It covers most of the places visited in Sofia and lots of other places of interest across the country.
