It's a statue obviously if you are a fan of the subject matter or the sculptor then this will be of interest to you but a warning there are a lot of shops around selling clothes!!

Can we imagine the world without Nikola Tesla and his scientific contribution? Probably no. Thanks to him we can enjoy in many features related with electricity which are used up to now.

It is fairly large sized statue dedicated to this great scientist. Tesla sits in a thinking pose possibly indicating what more he could have invented. A great tribute to the great man by Zagreb.

Just behind the statue is the famous Flower Square. Lovely cafés and restaurants are all around this statue. Useful to know that this is also the point for taxis.

Walked by this statue, took a picture and though, hmm, could this be the same Tesla? Sure enough, turns out the Tesla car was named after this great inventor.

For me he is the most popular scientist of all the time. As time passes the fascination with this great man grows and I am happy that such a great man has his statue in Zagreb.

Luka Modric not withstanding, Nikola Tesla is most likely the most famous Croatian you’ll know. A nice statue dedicated to an amazing inventor.

A statue of this size and the location on a street named in his honor is a tribute that is certainly worthy of a man with so stellar a resume. We also found a small plaque mounted on an exterior wall near St. Marks church....More
