Partially closed, pretty poor collections, no guiding information. The yard looks like a construction site.

This museum is amazing. It has weapons from Neolithic Era till 21st Century. They also have Romanian tanks from WW2, King Carol's the First sword, King Ferdinand's Mannlicher Pistol, the space capsule, in which Romanian astronaut Dumitru Prunariu land back on Earth. In this museum...More

This is off the beaten path but I have found that the military museums of the central European countries are first class. Note small entrance fee must be paid in local currency no credit cards. The exhibits started off great BUT the exhibits after 1700's...More

A lot of weapons and tanks and military planes that were used in war. History of humans is so sad and you can see it like a flashback through this museum.

We went here to get a fix of 20th century Romanian history, only to find the exhibition closed for refurbishment. However there is an extensive collection of historical artefacts and modern soviet era weapons. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
