The Biserica is little but amazing, it's nice from the outside but you must go inside to see how beautiful it really is.

The church was built in the 1700's though it looks much older. There is usually a service going on that you can go in to watch. There are many religious icons on the inside. Outside there is a courtyard that you can sit in and reflect in during your visit.

One of the nicest things in Bucharest is that churches are open for visitors. This is a beautiful small Old church with painted ceilings and dome and of course frescoes and golden icons. A peaceful place to contemplate and spiritually uplifting.

a little jewel of Romanian late middle ages. One of the monastery's constant interests is Byzantine music, expressed through its choir and the largest collection of Byzantine music books in Romania.

One approaches the monastery via a shaded and peaceful path. It is busy with respectful pilgrims. The interior is quite breathtaking.
