This is a magnificent building with imposing roman columns.There is no organized visits as in the opera halls of other European countries. Here you should book a ticket for a show to see the magnificent frescoes inside. It is very easily reachable by public transport....More

We enjoyed our tour of the city. The Romanian Athenaeum is one of several classic buildings that survived the communist takeover of Romania.

Locating next to Radisson blu hotel. I went to the Philarmonic concert on Saturday evening and it was simply superb. Well maintained. Cheap ticket for a great seat in orchestra.

Just go round the side to the ticket office. You can possibly do it online too, but we found it easier to do it in person.
