Lipscani is one of Bucharest Old Town' streets. Very well preserved area, pedestrians only, historical buildings, it is full with restaurants, pubs and terraces. The place is very popular and gets absolutelly packed Fri-Sun. You can have a large variety of cuisines, cocktails, beers and other drinks, meet new people, and even do a bit of shopping.

Worth a try and a look while in Bucharest, a definite tourist attraction to add to the list while in Romania.

Grab a drink or some food, or just walk around, it's quite small, but full of life and youth! Loved it!

This is actually the very old city center of Bucharest and this street in particular is very well known by the inhabitants, as it used to the during the comunist years and even after the black market where everything was for sale for a price. The area is accessible only on foot and car access is forbiden. It makes sense... More

Great to walk around the Old Town, visiting different bars and restaurants. Interesting architecture with nice an cosy streets.. Has small coffee shops all around as well as souvenir shops. Too crowded during the summer nights..but so full of energy.

We would say it is the heart of old town, cool shops and restaurants surround it. No traffic to be bothered with, just enjoy the old town for everything it has to offer. Our favourite feeder street is the passages.
