When we visited the military were practising for the national day of Romania so it was really interesting to see. The building itself is worth passing by on your way to the park from the Metro station as it is impressive.

Great monument on a heavily crossed area. Beautiful building. Make yourself a trip around to admire this structure.

A drive by. A replica of the Arch de Triumph in Paris it is interesting to think about historically and Ceausescu’s plan to make Bucharest the Paris of the eastern block. Nice but but not inspiring.

It's easy to see this since it is near the overly huge government center. It is a good reminder of Romania's involvement in WWI.

A bit of an oddity as in the middle of the road and almost forms its own roundabout Worth a visit for its historical value as well

Reminiscent (deliberately) of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. In the middle of a busy roundabout between the airport and downtown, so any tourist can hardly avoid seeing it. Probably worth just passing by and taking it in from the car!

Situated as most are in the middle of a very busy roundabout. Large imposing arch as can be found in many cities around the world, but always worth a visit to get a photo.

It's an oddly situated place, in the middle of a roundabout. Close to the park & museum. Very busy spot. Still worth walking to for a look.
