Triumph Arch is a bit of a hike - get the M2 from Unirii Square - then 1KM walk to site. Good spot for a selfie ... !!! ... You cannot climb inside the Arch - open only one day a year - and I would not advise trying to cross the road if you don't want to get run... More

You will pass it multiple times during travel around the city, but it is worth the 10 minutes it takes to stop and take a good look.

This arch is very smilar to the one in Paris in terms of size, meaning and placement. It is on a main way which connects the northern part of Bucharest (airport) to the downtown part, so you can easily spot it on your way to the hotel or back to the airport. A glimpse from your taxi would suffice if... More

The arch is same as delhi gate or paris gate. A triumphal arch is a monumental structure in the shape of an archway. Romanian flag is at the top of the arch, which you can enjoy and take some photograph. This is one of the symbol of romanian revolution.

it is just something to see from your car, or if you walk in the parks next to it you can go see it... but do not go just for this

I got to check off seeing both this Arc de Triomphe and the one in Paris. I will say driving in Bucharest is scary as hell and I'm glad I had a hired car and driver. One day a year, the traffic is shut down and a memorial march is held and folks can climb up the tower, but other... More

Smaller than the Paris one but none the less impressive, it is situated on a roundabout so adds to the Parisian feel. Worth a look if you get the chance. A lot of the architecture around the city has a Parisian feel about it.

The Triumph Arch is located near the south entrance to Herastrau Park and Village Museum. It is similar with the Triumph Arch in Paris.
