Actually went looking for the Sunday market at the park entrance and was expecting a grotty, badly-kept little park. We walked to the park and were disappointed by the market. The park, however, was a revelation. It was much bigger than we expected with a...More

A large and beautiful park inaugurated in 1906 and named after King Carol I. It has many gardens, fountains, statues and the Mausoleum. Now it's a favourite place for locals.

The park is really big and you have enough space for jogging, for roller skating, quiet walks or intensive workouts.

This is a fairly large park with lots of paths and a lake in the middle. It is quite popular with families as it has a play area that can be full of kids enjoying themselves. There is plenty of shade for strolling.

The park is centered around a mausoleum with the remnants of people of national importance in the history of Romania. In front of the memorial with high pré-McDonalds arches are two guards or sometimes just one next to an eternal flame. Especially on Sundays lots...More

It's a nice park to take a leisurely stroll as I saw many couples, teens, families, and elderly people doing on a summer eve. The fountain is cool! If you're lucky when it's warm, you will get a little spray.
