We made the effort and took a longish taxi-ride to visit this little gem of a museum. Nikola Tesla was the little-revered but brilliant creator of A/C or alternating current in a world emerging from medieval lamp-light into a new modern era dominated by Edison's prevailing invention of D/C or direct current. Few know that he abjured fame and personal... More

It is a nice museum but as we were there on a rainy Sunday afternoon taking part in a guided tour (500RSD including entrance and tour). At first there was a 15min movie about Tesla's CV, then the guide showed some of the equipment. It was really impressive when being able to watch but unfortunately the rooms were so crowded... More

The newly revamped Nikola Tesla Museum is a thing of beauty. Along with the newly presented Tesla statue, the man who gave us so much is finally getting full credit and honor in his birthplace of Belgrade. Serbs have much to be proud of! The museum is not large at all, and consists of just a few rooms inside a... More

Without a tour you can see the entire museum within 3 min. The tour was ok, but also nothing mind blowing.

The Tesla Museum is a very small place. Demonstrations are given by guides, as they involve high tension electricity. When we visited the group was far too large, and we could see almost nothing from the back of the crowd.

This is a very small museum about Nicola Tesla and his inventions. There are roughly five rooms total, and one of those is basically a theater. That said, it is extremely interesting. Nicola Tesla is one of a very small number of men who essentially invented "the 20th Century" and made our current lives possible. He was an engineer and... More

We wanted to go to Tesla museum very much!We walked from our room to go there(from the centre) and we walked for about 20-25 minutes. The cost was 500 dinnars or 4,5 euros but we had a problem with the guided tour because it was only in Serbian language! We watched a video with the life of Tesla and then... More

Take the tour. It starts with a 15 minute video about Tesla which is the best video I have watched on his life. The 45 min tour that follows is full of information and hands on experiments. The museum is small but with the tour it is a fabulous experience. I am a Tesla fan and this is not to... More

It is well worth the 500 dinars to attend the english guided tour at 3 and 5 pm a 15 minute film introduces the history and a good demonstration of the tesla coils including volunteers to hand hold the fluorescent tubes lit from the machines. This can be hands on as much as you'd like, A splendid way to spend... More
