This old Mosque was built around 1575 - during the Ottoman rule in Serbia. This mosque is the only remaining islamic religious architechture located in the city of Belgrade.

A well-preserved 16th-century mosque in the affluent Dorćol neighborhood of Belgrade. The only one in the city and probably in all of northern Serbia. Favored by Bosniaks who live in Belgrade, and of course Turkish tourists.

Once having 217 mosques, It is one of its kind that is left from old days. Conservative stone building in quiet, serene part of the city.

The mosque is situated 5 minute walk from main pedestrian street. It does not look anything special not different than any other small mosques. Definetely not a must see.
