THis is a nice place to visit..learned a lot of history. It sits atop the city where the Sava and Danube Rivers meet. Its worth the time to visit.

A must see place in Belgrade. Has a really nice view. Good for couples but from my point of view Zemun is much more better than here for a landscape .

Had a very nice meal in an excellent setting on the edge of the fortress. The restaurant here overlooks the river and has a terrace for the summer. This was a business dinner so there was a limited menu but the quality and wine was good. Would recommend visiting here if in Belgrade

Absolute beautiful fortress, just loved the place. The structure is massive and imposing and gives a great view of the valley below the town and the city centre itself. Impressive entrance gatehouse and towers, well preserved walls, barbican, well, armoury and battlements. A really majestic building and the highlight of any visit to Belgrade. Just really reluctant to leave it... More

At the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, up on a bluff overlooking the entire valley around the city this was well thought out. As you enter the Fortress from the exceptional park abutted you see the stunning towers and ramparts. In front of those walls is the Tank row. Only a true tank buff will look at these... More

We enjoyed the walk frm Mikaelova street towards the fortress. Nice views over the river and interesting museum
