Great place though overcrowded with tourists. Better to visit in work days,in one sunny spring or autumn day. Worth to walk not only by main road but look at sides, go to back alleys and visit museums and galleries. Of course, if you are lucky...More
Beatiful buildings around, but there are plenty of small merchants with souvenirs, and they are annoing. Anyway, you should check this place =) As a small advice: if it's raining, the pavement is very slippery - use suitable shoes! it's really dangerous.

If you’re up to it try walking from St Sophia to St Michaels and on to St Andrew’s. They are truly awesome. The street leading to St Andrew’s is lined with art work for sale and dozens of small kiosks selling all kinds of things.
Shopping the markets that line the street, is a true toursit experience. A little bit of everything Ukrainian can be found there from beads to blouses and much, much more.
